  We have stayed at the Sunset Cove many times prior to Covid and it was nice to be able to go back to a place that we love and feels like home. The condo is very comfortable and has everything you can imagine to cook. The views are unbelievable. You could literally fall off your balcony onto the sand: it’s that close.
  There were a couple of things that needed to be taken care of while we were there but the management crew, Jose was excellent and so was Carlos the maintenance. We were very happy and look forward to going back there in September.

  Breathtaking view as soon as you walk in. Deck and sliding living room doors have unobstructed ocean view with only sand and water in front. Relatively private deck (neighbor on south side was not home). Great location ... easy to walk into main town (can even walk along beach). Everything was clean, and in working condition.   This was our second stay at Sunset Cove Villas and we had an awesome time. The location is fantastic, the units are luxurious, and the views can’t be beat. There are plenty of towels and extra blankets and pillows, and the sheets are super soft. The only things that detracted from our stay were small but annoying. The fire alarm went off at 8:30 pm for three nights in a row and it was not due to fire. We were traveling with children and this really ruined bedtime and subsequently our ability to read once they were asleep. On the first night the alarm went off for a solid 12 minutes and the sound is unbearable throughout the complex. The second issue was how squeaky the King size bed was. I have never slept in a bed that made more noise every time you move. That combined with the fire alarm was really frustrating for trying to get a good night of sleep. Finally, the toilet in the hallway bathroom would not stop running after we flushed. Every time someone flushed we had to removed the tank lid and jiggle the arm inside the tank. These three little things did not ruin our trip but they did make me question why we were paying for a luxury experience when aspects did not feel luxurious at all.

  Beautiful property! A pleasant surprise to drive into a garage, I like the fact that our car was safe. Then we walked through the property to get to our villa and We were very impressed with the style of the building, very nice!! I was feeling really good about the property but When we walked into our Villa we were blown away by the beautiful and spacious villa with the most incredible Ocean views, amazing!!
  A fully equipped kitchen and having a supermarket down the street made it very convenient, we had some great meals and having a bbq grill was perfect.
  We had breakfast, lunch and dinner on our private balcony because we couldn’t get enough of the ocean views, especially at dinner time with sunset views, the most beautiful sunsets!!
  The fact that we had direct access to the beach was great, the property provides beach chairs and umbrellas which was a great touch.
  My son is into surfing and Thalia st beach was the perfect Spot.

  I had looked at a dozen other rentals before choosing this one, and I am extremely happy we chose Martinique. The view from the main room and balcony are amazing. The balcony is almost right over the tide. Relaxing there was probably the highlight of the vacation.
  
  Check in and parking was easy. There is a shared garage with the other units in the building with designated parking spots. Beach access is very easy and it's a quick 5-10 min walk to the main beach area and board walk.
  
  Beyond that, the place was spotless, with fully stocked Keurig and luxury bath amenities, etc. Definitely want to visit again.

  Waking up each morning to that ocean view was so good for us mentally and physically. The swivel chairs so you can watch the water, sky, beachgoers from the warmth of the living room were one of my many favorites of this place. Good coffee provided in the room. Beds and furniture were comfortable and clean. Nice upper deck for entertaining friends who came to celebrate my birthday. Garage parking (one space per guest) but there are free spots for additional guests in their sister properties across the street. Short walk to the Ralph's grocery store, the Deck and Orange Inn restaurants to grab lunch or breakfast. A couple of blocks to the Cliff Restaurant - great outdoor spot for happy hour and dinner including live music under their twinkly lit courtyard.

  We had a wonderful stay in the Martinique unit at Sunset Cove. The condo was comfortable and well maintained. Leo, the manager, was there to meet us on arrival and quick to help when we had questions. The unit is right on the ocean, but up away from the sand so it was very quiet. We especially appreciated a dedicated parking spot. The property is in central Laguna Beach, walking distance to excellent restaurants, galleries, and a grocery store. We have rented many vacation properties in Laguna Beach, and this by far was our favorite. We cannot wait to stay there again.

  This was my second stay at Sunset Cove Villas. The location and accommodations are excellent. The property is very well maintained and within walking distance to grocery, restaurants and so much more....directly on the water! The upper viewing common area deck has been updated and is beautiful!
  No need for a car, but I like the secure garage parking since I drove from AZ.
  The manager Tim is great. Leo was on duty while we were there, he is the nicest most helpful employee I have ever met. He made sure everything was top-notch and we had everything we needed. My only regret is that I had to leave.

  We've been coming to Laguna since I was a child and this place is the best value and space available! The view is spectacular and doesn't stop at sunset! We get some city views and beautiful moonlight over the water. The room is spacious with two full baths, one in the master suite. Nice people around without the felling of being crowded. Also great laundry room we always use and couldn't do without with a small child. Close to everything downtown or if you want something from the market across the street. We'll be back for sure!

  OK, so you are looking for a place to stay IN Laguna Beach....why not consider a stay ON Laguna Beach? We spent a week at Sunset Cove Villas in the Martinique Villa,&the ocean was literally right below our balcony! If you have never experienced the unobstructed views&sounds of the ocean at your fingertips... put it on your Bucket List, and then make it happen!
  
  This is our 2nd stay at Sunset Cove Villas, & we came back for so many reasons. We love being right on the beach! But no doubt- all 8 villas here are just as beautifully appointed and will leave you wanting for nothing- if you do think of something though, you are ENCOURAGED to call upon the very genuine and kind manager; Tim, or one of his equally caring staff. Lots of smiles to be found here! :)
  
  Last year we stayed for 2 weeks in the Antigua. This year we managed to book a full month; starting with Martinique for the first week before moving over to Antigua for the additional 3 weeks. Tim was accommodating, and it was nice to try out another villa. Final Report- Both villas were EQUALLY WONDERFUL. :)
  
  If cleanliness is a concern for you- THIS PLACE IS UBER CLEAN! If you have dietary restrictions (like me) you will be DELIGHTED with the full kitchen, &Ralph's grocery store RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET (Whole Foods is in walking distance, and Trader Joe's is just a short drive away). If you are just not interested in cooking, no worries- restaurants abound!!
  
  Beach access is literally steps away from ANY of the villas,& any equipment you may need to make your time in the sand and surf more comfortable (umbrellas, chairs, towels, boogie boards) are ready and waiting!

  Great space, the best location and exceptional views! The space of the villa beats any hotel room, it was spacious with two bathrooms and two bedrooms. Plus there was a full kitchen with extra large refrigerator! There is also a fully loaded laundry room, all free, so you could wash wet towels and dirty clothes. House keeping is about once a week, but you can request more. Tim O'Neil is always around but he's also a short phone call away if you needed something urgently. The beach was right under my feet, the sound of gently pounding surf lulls you to sleep each night. The price is a bargain compared to what you get for a hotel room. I've been coming to Laguna for many years and this location, with amenities and the condition of the property is wonderful. Only tell a couple good friends or availability will be tougher to get!

  We have been staying at Sunset Cove Villas for around 8 years and we love it. Our children talk about the beach house and how they can't wait to stay there. Our entire family rents out about 6 of the units ever year the same week so there is approximately 35 of us, we have such a blessed time.

  Our recent stay was our first visit to Laguna Beach. We stayed in the Martinque unit. Being in the hospitality business I know quality. From the furnishings to the bathroom amenities everything was 5 star. Top that with Tim the property manager, Peter who greeted us upon arrival, and the guest experience is absolutely
  wonderful. Just bring your clothes. From boogey boards to umbrellas, and everything beach in between, it is there. If you don't want to drive, just park the car in a garage below that is as clean as a professional kitchen. You can walk to everything. Thank you Sunset Villas
